After a long and harrowing month, I finally got to draw again this month. So I just put pen to paper... er, stylus to pad, really... and let my hands work. So here, fresh today, four little random bits of approximately whatever came to mind for sake of my planned Underlings mini-series.


The first two are inspired by actual scenes I want to utilize, all about letting the mood and body language do the work. We have Dalon looking utterly done with everything as he goes to grab another pack of Zalg-brand herbal cigarettes, all whilst finishing his last off. But hey, it could be worse, he could be a completely strung-out nutcase like this "zoney" lion; a true addict of the future, even coming complete with a special cybernetic replacement to his tooth that lets him inject his fix straight through it, up his root and straight into his bloodstream all the quicker, all while sating the oral fixation side effect it causes.


The third is just a maybe, more of an excuse to get a feel for the type of island Nuwekrag is outside of the cities and show off a piece of some old sci-fi-looking vehicle long since crashed and abandoned, a relic left behind amid the great rocks and sea foam. And hey, I like drawing the sea and water, so that's always a plus.

And lastly, the fourth was just to play with angles for an overhead shot. And just to draw more of one of our four main character, Lecine, because why not? Even a super-strong, confident and flirty Underling security pro can have those days of just looking up into the hazy sky and wondering what the point of it all is...
