I guess that's fair. Though there is a long history of trade between the Dutch and the Japanese, even during the time Japan was otherwise closed to outsiders.

So I suppose there's a miniscule chance that something similar could have happened in this Japan-inspired fantasy world and her family are traders from this world's not-Europe who decided to settle down? Seeing as how Trixie is a nickname for Beatrix, which is about as Dutch as a name can get (source: am designing a Dutch character for my own cast with that name).

I'm probably thinking about this way too hard but I have fun analyzing this stuff.
