Ok an I know I haven't given y'all 'tastebud boners' in awhile either... so here's a lil' somethin' I fixed m'self since we were havin' steaks fer dinner, thought I'd make mine inta a steakburger... an a'course the only thing that could make a steakburger even better is addin' bacon so y'know... that went without sayin' as what this would need... so here ya go....
ingredients:
1 5oz. steak (grilled to preferences)
2 slices of thick cut hickory smoked bacon (also grilled)
2 slices of pepperjack cheese
2 slices of tomato
1 sesame seed hamburger bun (also lightly toasted on the grill)
worchestershrire sauce
Dale's marinade
side dishes were brussel sprouts (fresh steamed) an potato wedges (baked)
directions:
The steak was prepped by my slicin' away as much of the fat then placed in a ziploc bag with a few shakes of the worchestershire sauce an Dale's marinade. I squeeve out most'the air b'fore sealin' the bag an gave it a good gentle kneadin' ta further work the marinades inta the meat an placed that in the fridge fer 'bout 30mins. before grilling. I used a small grilling skillet ta grill the steak, bacon an toast the buns so the buns an steak got a mild flavor from the bacon added to'em from it's grease when those were grilled.
The other toppings to the steak burger can be made for preferences... then serve and chow-down!... So hope this gives y'all another way'a enjoyin' a nice steak dinner {:)

well ya know I can't leave our foodie fans hangin' too long... an I knew if I didn't finally come back with somethin' that didn't have bacon in it... well I know 'that look' only all too well from our dogs... that whole 'you-better-sleep-with-one-eye-open-pal' cause we are gonna surely make ya regret not includin' bacon! lol ;)
