Gabby ended the call with his significant other, sighed, rolled his eyes and dialed 911. "I'm keeping you two doing the welcome mat impression until the cops show up. And while you're contemplating your unbelievably bad life choices, you can add this: My girlfriend's a prosecutor, so I've ended up with some personal friends in law enforcement..." The muffled noises from under the looming coyote's paws suddenly sounded even more miserable. Half-listening to his phone ringing, Gabby muttered to himself, "Why am I having so many run-ins with incompetent scumbags these days? At this rate, some of my old roommates are gonna show up on my doorstep any minute now... or worse, some of my mother's side of the family..."

Thanks to the generosity of  FoxBoyKonogo who was reckless kind enough to ask for OCs to to use in the "Thieves Afoot" series to smush his recurring characters Scamper and Reddy, I have my first color pic of Gabby! I'd honestly never had a clear image of my own most-used character's fur pattern, so I was looking forward to seeing how an experienced artist would define it, and Konogo made it much more memorable than I'd ever pictured. The only reason this exact image can't be canon is because reptiles aren't intelligent in Gabby's world, so just picture Reddy as some disreputable small mammal and this really did happen as a minor annoyance in Gabby Davies' life! Stamping on tiny folks isn't typical for Gabby, but when you spot a couple of burglars in your apartment who also happen to be ankle-height, what's your first reaction going to be?
