Another slashy pic of the Redwall: Revolutions gang. This time, Daskin the 10-year-old ferret and June the 17-year-old otter get the treatment. Mind you, I think shota's just a little squicky, so Dasker's is planning for the future like a good little chess master.

'Ever since Danaidh had explained to him the 'Facts of Life', as it were, Daskin had begun having the most peculiar thoughts whenever he saw or thought of Juniper. He couldn't explain them. They were thoroughly illogical. In any case, June wouldn't understand... would he?

Nonsense! It was all nonsense. It would never work. A 10-season-old ferretkit and a teenage otter? It would be like trying to substitute a pawn for a queen: Just not an option. Although...

Daskin let his mind wander toward the moves he might make in the future. If he played the long game... Well, there was no reason a pawn could not become a queen given time and the proper instruction.'
