To celebrate the release of How To Train Your Dragon on dvd, I decided to make a little dragon character. I doodled and colored this pic really quick last night, taking the opportunity to experiment a little with cell shading. I might doodle this character ever now and then from now on, Im really liking how her design turned out.

Layed late in the year, Blind Strike was the only of her clutch to survive the brutal winter. Hatching in early spring, she was an offspring of a Night Fury and Deadly Nadder. Her mixed bloodline not only resulted in her being too small and ill-equipp for flight but also left her mostly blind. Unable to keep up with other dragons, she soon found herself on her own in the wild.

She is still supposed to be a little young in this picture. Considering making another dragon to accompany her, not sure yet, though.
