A First Time For Everything - Commission
Commissioned piece for NewEnglander. His vampire character, Miranda, changes into her bat form for the first time... and doesn't even know it! This was a pleasure to do... not only are foods and wines a passion for me, but when he first brought up the idea, I had a vision of Miranda with a e___e face and couldn't stop laughing.
As you can see, Miranda is a vampire that enjoys some of the finer things in life, such as expensive wine. Speaking of... it's a good thing that she didn't drop the glass during her shift. At about $275,000 USD a bottle, she'd probably be very angry about that!
The world needs moar anthro bats!
NOTE: She's drinking out of a gold goblet rather then a wine glass only because I couldn't find a picture of that particular brand of wine that accurately showed it's color!

Yeah. 1907 Heidseik is the most expensive wine in the world due to it's incredible age and alledged story behind it.
Apparently 200 or so bottles of this wine this wine was lost in a shipwreck in 1916 and dug up from the bottom of the ocean in 1997. You can buy them at the Carlton Hotel in Moscow for $275,000 a bottle.
