well i wanted to show my back off for once and try drawing my hair in a pony tail plus try drawing 3/4 turned away which i think i did a goodish job :/ i started scaling my back but i got lazy when inking XP i may completely finish it when i get around to it cause i dont like leaving anything un-finished

oh? yeah ive always been a still life sketcher but past year ive drawn more anthro then i have anything else my whole life.

I barely drew anything BUT bladed weapons ^-^'
So the switching from what I knew to something else made it 10x harder

that is a big step. well me its gone from drawing stuff i see in front of me basically copying real life to drawing "myth" anthro from my own head. so now i gotta think logically how the body works n stuff rather then oh thats how it is thats how its drawn XP

I could never draw something strait in front of me and still can't ^-^'
But thats probably why I chose art for an elective. To advance on some of my art skills which we have not done at all so far it's only been clay work -.-'

all my visual art subject did in my HSC was teach me to see meaning in works(not useful for anthro art most of the time) and teach me how to paint expressively(also not useful for antho art XP thou its a good vent tool)

she has to teach the course no matter what it is. i had the exact same teacher too for all 6 years but i think she skip a lot of the stuff cause the hole class(of only 6) she had before. btw you in year 10 or something?

Still just in year 9 (Unfortunately) But people still mix me up with a year 11 or 12 and I have no idea how...
Shure I'm like 6'5"(About 2M) and I look like an 18 year old. But still I don't know how they could mix me up ^-^'

i cant comment on your appearance i haven't seen ya but your personality you seem 18 but what gave your year away was you said elective so i knew it was year 9 or 10. your age is 15 as i noted on your profile just a moment ago which also could mean ether year 9 or 10 as well. my self 19 thou i look 15 and i act 15 too XP

That looks good!
Nice job on the head at that angle, turned out really well!
Doing all the scales for the back will be a big job! you need to have a way of suggesting the scales without having to actually draw every single one.

yeah if it was digital id try and find a scale brush or texture.
