For a warmup today, I decided to draw this grayscale portrait of my character, Anima, that I had adopted some time ago. It's fun to draw without having to worry about coloring, mostly because I wasn't in the mood to color- just draw. I don't give myself much time to draw my own characters since I always have a backlog of unfinished works I owe xD;;

They don't have a lot of details on them mostly because I'm still developing the universe they're in. Anima is a Celestial Judge - a group of wildly different species of people who travel to different planets, universes, dimensions, etc. to keep order. They're highly impartial and boast a lot of power, but aren't always the punishers. I have a few more characters fit into the universe they're in, though I haven't drawn them much, yet.

Anima is also mostly blind due to a birth defect of being an angelic/demonic being hybrid. They have seeing-eye birds that are bound to their soul to help them perceive shapes easier. It's more of a light and dark silhouettes on the worst days.
