After one of their many encounters, Dr. Wily was unable to properly escape from the destruction of collapse of his fortress, and as the mad doctor laid amidst the rubble about ready to die, he is confronted by the questionable and mischievous game hopping Shy Jester, Abra Chord.

Abra took advantage of this situation and decided to have a little bit of fun by using his powers to transfer Wily’s consciousness and mind into a new body, combining elements from his knowledge of future timelines of the Mega Man universe and other settings to make Wily into a much more advanced robot in the hopes that doing so would provide some amusing and fun situations.
