Going to be doing book illustrations for my partner, Sam Fennah, for his upcoming book. The August Few. The edges are as wide as they are to prevent any cut-off of the character itself for different prints.
Here is a test one I finished up for him earlier yesterday. The style is a mix between his CGI renders, and I do sketchy touch ups and things with Paint Tool Sai.
They'll be made in the same way that I've done stills for him in some of the animation tests. Weeeee
