Okay so I had to make up a couple logos for Graphic Design class this past week and for next week.. this one is my favorite so far.
It represents my two all time favorite colors; aqua green and purple.
I chose the name Dystamine, because Machina is way too popular of a name (especially with deus ex machina) and not very original. Actually I'm thinking of changing my FA username to Dystamine. What do you all think? I hate the thought of changing accounts.. but eh, I dunno. I need opinions. :/
The name Dystamine (pronounced Dis-Tuh-Mean) is something I made up when I was like 13 for an AOL screen name.. so like 7 years ago lol. Right now it's used for various accounts online and it's my Xbox Live gamertag, which I've had since the Xbox 360 came out.
Also, what do you think about the logo itself? Criticism appreciated. :)

I like Dystamine more than Machina, and I wouldn't mind if you changed accounts. I think of you as Jamie because that's how I met you, and I'm already used to Dystamine so yeah. That's fine with me.
As for the image, I like it. :o That's an interesting symbol between the eyes.

I really like the sharpness look to the colors gradient in the eyes, as well as the purple shadow on the lettering. Overall it's a very well put together logo.
For negative I'd say the only thing is that the font looks kinda like it was drawn freehand and has a less-clean look to it. which would be fine, but I find the whole logo is very clean and sharp looking but the font is more messy than the rest, if that makes sense.
Still overall it's amazing
