Well one thing I'd definitely say is reference reference reference!
Almost everything I draw nowadays is almost straight from a photo.
It's the absolute best way to improve yourself and your understanding of anatomy, colors, and so much more in my books. I can't believe I didn't start using photo references until just a few months ago Dx

I am totally with you on that one. I studied art, but that was about 10 years ago, so I have kinda lost the skill a bit. I can see your point about using photos for references, it would make it easier, especially for an unfamiliar character. I've just got a new program to do art, so I am hoping to start doing some things soon. I made a start last night by creating my new icon.

No worries, I truely mean it - your work has motivated me to start getting some of my own done. I love to see art with vehicles in - probably because it is one of my interests, and also cars and trucks are part of my job aswell. (and they are the only things I can draw which end up kinda looking like what they should! *he he*)

Yeahhh! I drive trucks - totally love it, just on a short term basis at the moment though. My main job is a mechanic, repairing cars, but would love to go into truck driving full time - I just love being on the open road!

Funny you should say about a Mustang - one, that is one of my all time favourite cars, and two, I am working on a little something at the moment, which you may be interested in - when I have it finished! *grins* I don't want to say too much as I want it to be a surprise! *ha ha* Ain't I mean!

Oohh. What year? My two best irl friends recently purchased mustangs, and I'm looking for one of my own. Probably just a fox body for now, since they're dirt cheap :P

The one I was dreaming of is a '65 Mustang GT - the only problem of getting one of these, is the price tag!! That sort of age is my fav, as I am really into classics, but I do like the newer body shapes too - hey if its a Mustang, I'm interested!

I'm also totally lovin' all old-school muscle cars, can't say I'm much of a fan of imports either. They're ok I guess, but don't turn my head as much as what proper old-school stuff does.
