This is a painting of my childhood neighbor's cat, Nibsy, who my mom and I would always say 'good morning' to by meowing at him (haha) when he'd walk through our backyard. (Presumably he would also poop in my sandbox as I'd always find little logs in there, but I forgave him).

As far as I can remember, he's one of the first animals I think I'd ever come in contact with (ironically for being the animal-lover that I am, I didn't get my first companion animal-- a rabbit, of course-- until I was 6!). Such a sweetheart he was... always so friendly, and such a gentleman! I really loved that cat :)

This was made as a Thank You card for our neighbors, who generously gave me a special graduation gift last June after I graduated university.
