It's better than being dyed pink I guess.
Of course, Stan knows about ermines, which everyone things are awesome, so he's ok with this development. (As a bonus he can hide in piles of sheets and spook Rabbit.) Though he wasn't to excited to hear ermines are made into coats..

Stan: "Oh! Oooooohhhh! I am a tormented sou! Stolen from this world before I could fulfill my life's purpose! Ooooooh!"
Rabbit: "Really. And what IS your life's purpose, exactly?"
Stan: To taste every jar of hunny in the woods."
Rabbit: "Well, it's a pity you're a ghost then, they can't have hunny, it goes right through them. But you can have this broken jar, it is full of ghost hunny.
Stan: What? Wait, hey no! I'm not dead!
Rabbit: Aaah, poor Stan, it's like I can still hear his voice...
Later that day Stan tries to raid beehives by pretending to be a cloud. It goes as well for him as when Pooh Bear did it.
