Although I may be working for years on this I'm not working on the exact same story, it changed alot from my original idea (that was shitty) the original idea would involve the real world, but the real world is boring and limited so I created my own,at first it was supposed to be a realistic and low magic world with very simple steam engines and flintlocks, but then I realized that I like firearms way too much to limit them to flintlock also I like big machines that go vroom so I ditched the simple engines too.

then came the complete reboot of the lore, for those who don't know Danadriel used to be a incredible large archcardinal of the church of Omaro, but as more I played with the idea of being a witch hunter more I realized I was the witch all along! also writing stories about a protagonist with more political powers and resources than a president was pretty boring... this whole change has alot of personal reasons too that I will not detail here.

Also I tend to go back and forth alot with the concepts and designs of my story to make it most original as possible, although it is a fantasy story I dont follow the standard Tolkien approach to fantasy, nor the modern canned versions of it like D&D and Warhammer...alot of people already asked if my story is based on D&D ...NO ITS NOT! any similarity with it is mere coincidental,I hate the idea of characters having ''classes'' or standardized abilities, this is not how it works here.Another franchise I keep my distance of is warhammer, if you do anything military with remotely religious themes over it someone will ask "Is iT a wArhamMer rIpOfF?" like warhammer 40k has the copyright to the concept of a militant church or something like that (well considering how shitty GW is they probably wish they have ) I used to be like this, regarding warhammer 40k as the greatest sci fi ever created, but then I realized the whole story is a giant kit bash of stolen ideas glued together in to a barely working universe entirely maintained by dumb logic and humanity's gigantic plot armour...I still like it but I dont worship anymore.

But without a doubt the greatest delay on my world building is my absurd passion for my fursona, I cant resist I draw him constantly, I love to tell stories about him and draw him doing even simple stuff, so the audience only sees parts of the world trough his lens and only places he visited...I'm trying to avoid it a little, but don't expect it .
