Now what is that girl up to?

“To Paint the City Red” is the phrase of tag artists, but historically it may have some really (and literally) bloody origins involving warfare. For example, you’re a Roman soldier, or Viking, whatever. You and your buddies attack a nearby civilization, you loot and kill and rape, and after you have “conquered” the city, you (like any creative sane civilized person) will paint the city with the bloody remains of your victims saying “This town is ours!”, and “so and so was here”.

Nowadays I would like to think that graffiti is a far more harmless in nature display of rebellion and defiance as well as telling your community to “f off” and not ignore you.
