Not too long ago, I was just checking FA for some things and saw this guy on for adoption. When I did, I made the choice of adopting him. And I gave him a name and working on a background for him since he didn't come with one.

Occupation: DJ for the Indigo Abyss nightclub.

It seemed like an average night for the Ampwave when they were walking through the streets of Terminus, having once upon a time served as a DJ for the lesser known Winter's Dream club. They and their friends had gotten jobs there not too long after arriving in Terminus and were having the time of their lives there. However it would change when news came that the club was under threat of foreclosure. Despite them and their fellow workers best efforts, the club was closed and consequently lost their jobs. It was that evening that something... or someone would come to their aid.

"Hello there, my dear neon colored friend." A calm yet disconcerting voice sounded of behind them. Without hesitating, Neon spun on the spot and came face to chest with something taller than them. "Uh..." They backed up to get a better look. Even though it was pretty bright in the city with light blotting out the stars themselves, his cloak seemed to stay dark. His head was nothing like anything he'd seen before. Two long ears twitched as a pair of crimson eyes looked down upon him, with a eerie grin revealing a row of carnivorous teeth. The ampwave felt a chill shoot down their back, feeling a rising uneasiness within them. "What... What are you?" Neon said after an awkward minute of silence. The creature grinned once more. "My name is Levi, and I'm here to help you and a few of your friends." They took a step back, feeling incredibly uncomfortable now. "How-"

"How did I know? I heard news and rumors about it going around and decided to maybe stop by and help." Levi then pulled out a small wallet from his cloak. "Even if you did, I don't trust you whatsoever. Besides, you're too late. They just shut the place down." Neon looked back, seeing the pointed top of the building down the street. "I know. But that's not the offer I was gonna make you and them." Levi retracted his wallet, hiding his arm once more within his cloak. "What do you mean?" The ampwave raised their eyebrow, taking a slight step back. "Relax. I was gonna offer you all jobs should you want to. Though I would have to see your resumes and have meeting with all of you before I can." All Neon could do in that moment was blink. Was this creature joking? He had to be. Could he? "Please tell me you're joking."

The creature smiled with a toothy grin. "If I was then I'd have left by now. So, would you and them like it or not?" The ampwave stood their ground, their tail lightly gliding over the snow filled sidewalk. "What's the catch?" "No catch. You'd be working at one of the best nightclubs in all of Terminus. A high pay rate, followed by a kind and condescending owner who'll try his best to negotiate with you. In top of that, you can have a night to yourselves there once every weekend or so. How's that sound?" While they were tapping their paw in anticipation, a hint of caution lingered. This stranger just suddenly appears and offers to give him and his fellow friends jobs with no caveats whatsoever. To say something would be suspicious would be the ultimate understatement of the decade for him. "And if you still don't trust me, then I can show you instead of telling you." Levi started to walk down the street, his cloak gliding down the snow covered street with each step. While uneasy, they started to slowly walk after him. "Hey wait up!" Neon caught up to him and tagged along, walking through the labyrinth of roads to the Indigo Abyss.

So, I still have to work on him a bit more but I do intend to make him an interesting character! Anyways, I'll be working on a few things for now like sketching a bit more and have something more to come. I hope you all are having a good day/night!
