We can do this with mental difficulties, at least.

Time to time I have migraines and when my hubby sees how hard is for me to manage my day because of the pain and nausea, I see on his face how much it hurts him not to able to really help me to ease my pain. I always tell him he can relax/calm me down if something really hurts and it matters some.

Thank you so much for this short comic, it really hit home. :) My hubby wishes the same, he would gladly endure my pain because he wants to share everything with me.

I relate to this so much. My friend has had an ongoing chronic migrane for years now, and she also has chronic joint pains. She is in a lot of pain all the time. I wish I could do this for her.

as someone with chronic headaches/migraines, the thought really does count. knowing someone cares enough to want to be able to take some of the pain away is comforting. your friend is lucky to have that from you! thanks for sharing this with all of us!
