I guess this is kind of vent art >w< I know that I will only get better at drawing by continuing to practice, but it is still frustrating to not yet be able to do justice to the ideas in my head. So I drew Da Vinci going through the same kind of feeling 🧡

I’m one to believe that not being satisfied with your work can lead to great improvement. If you were always happy with what you produced, maybe you would never push yourself to improve. I know it can be frustrating to feel like you’re never improving. But seeing all of the lovely comments you receive, it seems that many people (including me) already greatly enjoy your work.
On a more comical note, DaVinci is gonna need to get a mop. She certainly has a habit of spilling paint on the floor. :)

Thank you for the kind comment ^w^
It makes me feel more motivated and energised when you and others comment on my work ^w^ It makes me want to keep going, because I know that other people are enjoying seeing what I make; it makes it feel worth doing ^u^
I agree, frustration is probably actually a good thing. It means I'm outside my comfort zone, and growth is only possible outside of my comfort zone, not inside it :3 It's like how feeling a little sore from exercising is a good thing; you're not growing if it doesn't hurt. Frustration has been pushing me to try drawing a wider range of different things in my sketchbook at home, and to try more focused exercises that I wouldn't have done otherwise, so I think it's a good thing ^w^ But as well as frustration, I do also need patience as well, because it will take years to get to where I'd like to be; I just have to keep at it ^^
Heehee, yes, this is the second time Da Vinci's done that in one of my drawings xD She doesn't do it on purpose, she just gets too caught up in the moment and doesn't notice her surroundings x'D Poor Dylan probably has to chase her around with the mop, telling her to clean up after herself xD
