Admittedly, sometimes I feel bad about going to artists with just one idea/concept/thought for them to work with, that being flight, as it can be a pretty broad concept. Ultimately, the idea is for the artist to just take the character and have total free reign over them and the singular idea.
This time around, I got battlekites. AND IT IS AWESOME. <3333

dude, kite battles in Pakistan and Japan get vicious. There were reports of people actually being decapitated by razor filament trailing kites.
completely random and sporadic but I thought morbidly interesting and fitting.
This piece is very cool though, I love his take on Lux. The shading and detailing around his face is great.
