I'm now taking commissions, and
dax was kind enough to be the first to give me a go.
For his money, he gets his character modelled, a handful of renders, of which this is one, and a little looped animation, which is to come.

I have a game development background, and I make fairly low polygon meshes that don't stress my laptop so much.
The yellow cast (and bloom) is suppost to be sunlight
If any of the london FX houses had given me a job when I left uni I'd of probably gone down that road. But I was broke and couldn't live on the promices of work they were giving me. So I went into games dev.

Its not cheap, its a lot of work. The initial modelling and rigging of the character costs $250 - that includes five pictures and a short looped animation. Once I've made the model, you can commission additional pictures for around $25. Also the model could be printed in 3D, used to make 3D lenticular badges, paper craft models or even put into a game.
WOW!!! Man I love lookind at your models. I wish I could see the version of the character without Meshsmooth on. As well as to watch you build him from scratch. THAT WOULD BE AWSOME!!! But then again, SO ARE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
