Challenge with this one was sadly the reflection on the floor. Had to render it out twice on different settings. The texture map on this model has a problem when Maya renders with Mental Ray, so I depend quite heavily on my graphics card and the Hardware Render. Sadly, only reflections can be captured with Mental Ray, and thus goes the layers and the adjusting since the brightness is a pain. Honestly this render looks like most of the other renders. Di-koud is just so dang boxy that I can do so little with it. Still quite like the colors in this one, and there is something sort of cutely depraved about the way the eyeless thing is "staring". Looks almost curious, wanting to say, "Hi," followed with the ripping and tearing of flesh. Ah, how I love my puppy.

Obtaining a legitimate Maya is an investment. http://usa.autodesk.com/maya/how-to-buy/ is where you can buy it, if you're willing to pay the some $3,500 price tag. Student versions are cheaper. Most of my programs are legal, but for obvious reasons, my Maya is not.
http://vaporeonlugiakrabby.homestea.....mmissions.html is my pricing guide for commissions. And original model is generally expensive, although if you want something else, or say... some graphic with this particular existing one, than it's less than $15. I don't do trades, generally.
