I really don't know why but lately I've just wanted to give Taban some attention. XD For one, I was trying to kind of get down that Disney style with shading. It's not horribly detailed or anything so it's kind of a quick thing for me. I'm trying hard to pump out a few colored works a month to keep me sharp.

Anyway, for those that don't know, Taban's my Shadows of Africa character. He's heavily influenced by Hugo of Suikoden III as far as coloration and all that.

He's a bit of a confused tactician. He was found by a blind lioness who had given birth close to his den shortly after -he- was born and confused for her cub. So he was raised by a blind lioness who had no idea he wasn't a lion so he really had no idea he was a lion- until he met Bai Feng, his true father (though no one really knows) and was taken out for his first hunt. Gee, lions shouldn't run that fast.

Tactician? Pretty much... he delights in scheming and learning little tid bits. He managed to slip his way into one of the more dangerous pride of lions and right back out again to expose their plans of invading a smaller more peaceful pride. He is a bit arrogant though. >_> Little twerp.
