Vance, or 'Van' as he's known, is my latest character.
A good friend of mine purchased this fursuit design from  mechasheep as a belated birthday present about three weeks or so ago. But, it's not going to be made just yet. Heh.

Van is a completely robotic raccoon, but he didn't always look the way he does now.
He's housemates with an attractive girl who he has feelings for. However, he's always tried to hide his robotic-ness, because he hoped not to frighten her.
Unfortunately, one day he got into an accident, and some of his facial fur tore off. Much to his chagrin, it happened in the presence of his crush...
Fearful that she might brand him as a monster, he tried to hide the torn fur. His crush however, thought otherwise. She thought the metal beneath was beautiful, and admitted she had been hiding feelings from him as well.
Later that evening, in an attempt to please his new love, he nervously cut half of his fake fur off...

She loved it.
