Oh, and one question, would you prefer it if the design were done digitally or traditionally? I tend to draw better traditionally, but the colors are clearer when it's digital.

XD I still can't draw over traditional pictures with my tablet. ;^;

I'm kind of.........really new to the whole tablet thing, I've used it only a couple of times this whole year.

do what I do
if it's photoshop, make a new layer but instead of "normal" choose "multiply" in the layer options and then you can syill see the sketch underneath, you're just throwing colours on top. X'D

Really? Well you'll get use to it eventually. It took me a year to get use to mine.

Oh, no, what I mean is my hand absolutely does not draw right when I use a tablet, I know all about layers and things, I'm absolutely not new to photoshop. It's the tablet itself that gives me issues. My lines never come out smooth enough because my hands shakes.

where do you put your tablet when you draw?
I have mine to the side of the keyboard BUT most find it easier in front of them [like you would a piece of paper]

I usually have in on my desk in front of me or in my lap just like I do when I draw normally.

well you could try it beside you. I found it stopped me from trying to turn the tablet like a piece of paper forcing me to draw straight
though it takes me forever to do things cause I have shaky hands
