Winged Serval-mix.
(I do not know precisely *what* said mix would have to be to get that mane. Perhaps this poor soul is simply a refugee from the Eighties' era of Big Hair...)

Wings were originally going to be shades of brown, but decided on a yellow-orange variation of red-tailed-hawk plumage instead, b/c I'm lazy and the brown watercolors were being ornery little bastards.


Doodled this about a month ago, after a trip to the local Renaissance Festival in which Indigo purchased a small fluffly catdragon of similar design (i.e. also maned). Debated back & forth as to how I wanted to color this piece....then I got new watercolors and there was only one logical answer.

I think, cumulatively, this is Watercolors Attempt #5.
