So everyone knows the story that Midgardsormr made the flight from his homeworld to Hydaelyn to flee the war that took his planet, and with him he took his brood, still encased within their eggs to this little star filled with the light of hope, the last among countless that still held any amount of the warmth he searched for so desperately. Nobody knows how arduous that task was but him and Hydaelyn herself... at least that's what they tell you.

The part that they don't tell you, that isn't written in any history books and likely will never be, is that he didn't make that trip alone. The reason he was able to keep going for so long wasn't through his own willpower, it was thanks to his only daughter at the time deciding to flee with him, ready to lay her life down to give him another chance. There were only so many suns out there, he can't rely solely on his scales to get him through this, he would need someone he loved to push him and to give him hope. A smile he could look down and see and remember why he was doing this. This is the beginning of the unsung daughter. His first taste of Dynamis, and her first taste of her truth.
