I failed to evacuate my family. Most of all, I worry about my younger sister and brother. They shouldn't have to go through all this, but for now, I'm powerless. Our stations are overcrowded, many people are trying to leave for a safe place. You have to wait not for hours, but for days. And then go the same amount across the border. It's still cold here, it's snowing. I will survive this road, but my little sister and brother - no. The only option was to find a car, that we don't have. Yes, it's still 5 days to go, but getting warm in the car is much easier. But it would cost at least 700$. Or even more. Probably more...
I won't lie about my financial situation. I want you to understand that I'm coping, but still not enough. Now I can expect no more than 170$ per month from my employers. There is not much work, but at least for now it is there. My older brother is in exactly the same situation. While we work together, there is enough money to feed the family. But I can hardly save anything for the trip. Now I have about $180 from kind people who helped us. I am saving this amount, but obviously it is not enough. Every day the price of food goes up. This worries me. I'm not even talking about getting treatment or buying clothes. But... So far, the main thing is to have enough for essential things. It could be worse, it's true.
