Amazon's tend to be one note in just about every medium they are depicted. Unaffectionate, holier-than-thou, can do bo wrong, blah blah blah.

So I made my own in my Mur universe.

They are instead very affectionate towards their males, who are noticeably shorter than the females. The ladies are fiercely protective and caring of their menfolk. Which I think is much more original and interesting.
