Oh wow, that was superb! so that was definitely a soprano sax I heard.. was this for a full wind ensemble? Saxes, all brass, and etc?

Yep you guessed it, that was a soprano sax. And yes its pretty much a full Wind Ensemble.

I do believe "Slava!" means "Fame!" in russian. Nice performance; I wish my band was this good.

I actually didn't record this. Another friend of mine takes care of the recordings of the large ensembles I play in.
