**Giggles!**
Growing up in the 1970s and 1980s gave me a pretty good passion for music. When I was younger, I tried to learn how to sing and even made some attempts at learning how to play the piano, the violin, and even the guitar ... I did enjoy a brief stint with the drums too! Probably no surprise. Catching American Top Forty with Casey Kasem, the voice of the airwaves and also Shaggy from Scooby Doo as well, I got to listen to some of the really good music of the late 1970s and 1980s. My Big Sister had a lot of albums, mostly artists like Alice Cooper, the Beatles, and KISS, though probably a lot others. Mom and her sister, Aunt Sara, tried teaching me about classical music, which was appreciated, but it was hit or miss with me. I did find out as I got older than I liked the background music found in movies like Star Wars, Aliens, and the Terminator movies, which I collected and have on CD and/or in my iTunes library. Interestingly enough, I do have some techno-music and some Rap as well like LL Cool Jay and DMX. While I don't agree with the music's topics and messages, I respect that they have the right to say what they do as every one does. I also have some of the Japanese anime like Bubblegum Crisis in there too. Unfortunately, a lot of the modern stuff like Lady Gaga or Miley Cyrus is lost on me. There's probably a lot that I have never head and don't know, but that's for another day. I have rediscovered my love for music as I have been healing as my Big Sister has opened up her library to me and sent me a lot of her stuff, but also being able to plug the iPhone into either Shadowdancer, my Jeep, or a company car. Music has been a good companion through the workday and helping me get back to a normal life once more.
Like me, Taffy's made a serious attempt at learning how to play several instruments including the flute, the violin, the guitar, the piano or keyboard, and the bag pipes interestingly enough. Being very patient allows the tigress time to have fun with the instrument and try out music that she enjoys, just like any artist. Now, while I often wondered if I could have been a rockstar, Taffy is pretty sure she could, but the usual allures for the career are lost on her. At a young age and being creative, Taffy's pretty well off, also thanks to a large family inheritance, something that both of us have in common, but with her folks being former superheroes from World War II and adventurers for a few decades, they built up quite the lucrative life. And that allows their daughters to have a lot of fun as well as go out and do what they want. Now, fun fact, Taffy's Big Sister, JJ "Josie" Vincent, is a special agent with the CIA. Taffy decided to keep the family business alive by donning the role of Ricochet KaBoom! The Impossible Girl!
But, for tonight's performance, she is Ricochet Rockstar!
This lovely piece of work is done by my newest friend and groovy artist,
xefri Like with all of the artists that I commission, check out their pages and see if they are offering work that might appeal to you. If I have invested in their work, they are worth it! However, if you need further proof either ask me or the artist.
