Hi there everyone! I'm back with a new artwork. This time an idea that I had recently and which I was really excited of trying. So this is what basically happened seconds after Goldigony's egg hatched in the middle of the forest. A chubby, helpless and absolutely cute creature was in the inside. She was looking for the first time the world outside the shell and she is really confused of what she is looking, besides, she is completely alone... Right?
This drawing resulted quiet easy after "solving" some important parts of it. It is really interesting when you can use "certain tricks" to change the age of the creatures you draw and I consider it is a really nice exercise to learn new drawing concepts and stuff. As always, making the right proportions and managing the perspective well was the true challenge, but it resulted well after a couple of fixes here and there. This wasn't only a great drawing to share cuteness in the world, but also an amazing drawing exercise that I recommend a lot to practice.
I feel really proud of how my little cutie baby dragon resulted in this drawing, especially how cute and helpless she looks n.n I hope all of you like it as much as I do! :3 And don't worry, you'll be able to carry her n.n

D'awww! The cuteness is beyond levels safe for outside consumption. Not even a fierce hydra, chimera, or basilisk would be able to bring itself to cause harm to such a helpless, adorable, cutie patatootie.

This tells more of Goldigony's story, too! It seems she may have been carried by her mother while she was flying towards 'The Dragon Lands'. Maybe a jealous dragon did not want to see the mother make it safely to 'The Dragon lands' to hatch her egg. This brought both dragons to battle while in mid-air with an unfortunate result of Goldigony's mother losing hold of her unhatched daughter's egg.
The attacking dragon would take the chance to attack Goldigony's mom until there was no way for her to prevent her unborn hatchling from crashing down and breaking into a million pieces. Being defeated, and as sad as a dragon can be, Goldigony's mom accepts that her hatchling is lost and can only think of how she will get revenge on the dragon who denied her the opportunity to be a mother.

Meanwhile, with a sequence of cartoon-like bounces from thin, leaf covered branches, Goldigony's egg slows its descent, rolls down a fallen tree, and launches from one of the fallen tree's roots before landing safely within a patch of thick bushes. These bushes provide enough warmth and protection to allow the rest of Goldigony's incubation to successfully come to a close before, in her eagerness to get out, she bounces out from the bushes more-and-more as a leg appears. Then an arm, another leg, her face, and a large portion of egg that was preventing the view of her other arm and torso.
We now have a newborn dragon who is cute as a button getting her first real feel for the world beyond her egg. Will she find someone to be her mama? Will her real mommy ever consider making a return trip to the area to find her lost daughter? Well, given where we are at in the image here, that shall be a story for a different day. :)

Uh huh. This drawing has not only dangerous levels of cuteness, but it will be also part of a future short story telling what happens before, during and after the scene of the drawing. And I'm definitively not taking note of what you just said for my story... Anyways, you'll have the chance of knowing the entire story pretty soon... I hope so...
