March 5 (Reuters) - Payments company PayPal Holdings Inc (PYPL.O) shut down its services early on Saturday in Russia, citing "the current circumstances," joining many financial and tech companies in suspending operations there after the invasion of Ukraine.
"Under the current circumstances, we are suspending PayPal services in Russia," President and Chief Executive Dan Schulman said in a statement. He added that the company "stands with the international community in condemning Russia's violent military aggression in Ukraine."
This is going to end well. 😈

one of my housemates thinks that Putin may have some kind of cancer. Something about his appearance and the steroids hes on (tho that could be an obsession with his 6pack). and this whole thing is either a: Russia get the win and he goes down in history as some kinda hero. or b: its full of fail and everyone left can say it was that dumbasses fault and hes remembered (locally) as the guy what took the fall to absolve Russia of the blame.
Personally? I'm waiting for this organization to be reorganized...
Kind of sounds like the company I work for. It's been in business for about 30 years. It has three car washes. At least once a month, one of the car washes breaks down (different ones at different times). The car washes were there when the company opened. Will they buy new ones so they quit breaking down? No-oooo. They believe that spending $5,000 once a month to repair said car washes is better than spending $25,000 to buy a new car wash that will last 25 - 30 years.
