Okay, perhaps Jasper isn't fat at all, but I love calling him Flabber. Again, just like Sadie, he was from an AKC breeder. The second dog we've gotten that has been undersocialized, that's why I have a strong opinion on AKC breeders. Plus I've met a AKC Sheltie breeder who was rather... well, it's alot to explain. And I've met an Aussie breeder who was about 10x worse.
But he's a good boy, and has made it a long way from not being fearful of the crunch of a plastic bag, to being able to be walked on a leash excellently.

very cute. If i may say something a lot of socialization has to happen in the forever home of the puppy. Granted breeders should be getting puppies out and about a little bit its a double edged sword. Most puppies are placed in homes when they are 8 weeks old. just after they are old enough to get their first set of vaccines. taking a puppy places with out the vaccines is a risk as it could expose the puppy to parvo. Which is why socialization falls on both parties both the breeder and the owner. I know breeders that do terrific jobs socializing their puppies and then it goes to its new home at 8 weeks (8-16 weeks is a crucial stage for socalization) and they pup never leaves the home to get proper socialization and then you can also get a undersocialized dog. Im not trying to excuse the breeders dont get me wrong. Very cute corgi though.
When we got him, Kin-Inu, he was much older than the average puppy would be adopted. My mom wanted a dog that was already older. We have socialized him alot from when we got him. But the state that we got him was unbelievable. He was around 7-8 months and had never been on a leash, or even outside of a fenced in yard.
