Aw, this one just makes me feel bad. Normally I can't help but feel a tiny bit of sympathy for Electra, if only because, in the comics, she doesn't seem to really grasp how much people really don't like her. And you've got to be in some kind of sorry shape if most of your social interactions result in your getting injured and laughed at, and yet you always go back for more. But now I just kind of want to deck her myself.

I really want to thank everyone who's sent well-wishes to my Rabbit half. Earlier this evening (in the dreaded real world)  zoemoss and I witnessed some gunfire and so I've been a little shook up since.

I'd also like to clarify that I do have friends and am awesome. But I couldn't do it without you guys!

Do you hate guns or the people that use them for wrong doings?

Not to derail things, but I can understand being upset about guns if the only context you're going to experience them is violent and not recreational.

I like guns personally, but only for certain things. *shrugs*

Guns are a waste of energy and resources :P I know we use them for war and killing each other or yeah shooting cans or w.e but it really is not helpful either way in our progression. People get in each others way and guns help the body count :P

People are violent at their root in the countrys that there are no guns in the civilian hands sure there are no crimes with them. There are more stabbings and deadly beatings with other objects as well as poisioning and Guns are used for hunting.

Yeah I know but guns make things much easier when it comes to killing :P give a man a knife he will be less willing to off someone then with a gun.

All depends on motive... There where repeating crossbows that where compact aswell...Guns where going to come out. Though the tries at an international gun ban are kinda silly... only law obidint citizens will give them up... seems a little one sided. If they did do it it shoulda been done after the war was eon and we became a country. To many unregestered to hurt anyone, but good people these days.

Yeah man we need to keep our guns in case a bear comes through the door or we need to rise up against the government. Both are about equally likely.

Or someone comes into your home and decides since his isn't a legaly regestered gun he can get away with killing a family or rob your house. Guns have been in the system too long in the U.S. to be taken out easily.

I'm pretty sure armed robbery happens whether guns are involved or not. Guns being involved makes the encounter potentially more lethal for all parties involved.

Also you're statistically more likely to use the gun on yourself than a robber one way or another.

The threat of a gun being in someone's home will NOT deter a robber.

I suppose that is true though there was a rape and burning here not long ago... crimes are violent and horrid no matter what but if a robber hears the tumble of a shotgun as it's pumped they usually will leave quickly...and those who shoot themselves have never used a gun. Or where taught that guns are cool without proper safty training. As with anything dangerous in like one should learn about what they are buying rather than just buying it and waving it about.

I'm just not sure we can trust a society of people that think it's a good idea to text while driving with safety training for a tool that is explicitly designed to kill.

Though to be fair those people usually drop from the genepool through natural selection.
