My original fandom fursona was "Lontra BlackOtter," and for my very first con - ConFurence 6 in January, 1995 - I decided to commission a floor costume of my druid river otter character. (I say "floor costume" because the term "fursuit" had not yet become de rigueur in fandom parlance at that time.) The costume was made by Rko_Lnx of Virtually Furry Productions, in Vancouver, BC.
