So not only did Joey end up sending out a Spearow immediately after mine died, but the Pokemon that was partly responsible for Jack's death (due to the Experience-whoring wasted turn) ended up evolving immediately after the fight and learned the move that just fucked it over.
If I wasn't well aware already that this run is deliberately taunting me to hell and back, I SURE AM NOW.

Sooooooooooooooooo.. if one of the good Pokemon die, will you never use them again?
It just makes me think how horrible it'd be in the game if you had a level 71 pokemon (the only good one) and then some mo-fo comes in with a level 100 pokemon and busts yours down, and you can't use it again because of this commitment to the comic.

Oh, it's not just for the comic. The Nuzlocke Challenge is in and of itself, well... a self-imposed challenge. :U Making a comic is a side thing. But yeah, the two basic rules of Nuzlocke are only catch the first Pokemon in each route (new mon or not), and if a Pokemon faints, it's dead and you can't use it again. :C Until the challenge is over, anyway. Some people release dead mons, but most prefer PC Storage for obvious reasons.
Of course, by the time your Pokemon is Level 71, the challenge will be looong over. BUT I get what you mean. That's the whole point of the challenge. :C
