Rogue stared at the massive wrecking balls that made up Blaze's rump, greatly dwarfing him, despite he himself being a rather big guy. "Uh... you sure about this?" Rogue asked.
Above him, Blaze's voice boomed as he chuckled. "Sure I'm sure!" he said. "What's the worst that could happen, eh?"
"W-well I mean..." Rogue began. "What if this building crumbles under my feet?"
"So?" Blaze scoffed. "Buildings crumble under MY feet all the time, and you don't see ME complaining!"
The hippo snorted. "That's not what I... ugh..." He rolled his eyes. "I mean I'm going to fall down too if this thing doesn't hold up."
"Oh, heh, I wouldn't worry," Blaze reassured. "I'm sure it'll be a soft landing, as thick as you are!" Rogue narrowed his eyes, making the Supersaurus shrug. "But seriously, I'll catch ya, okay?"
"You SURE?" Rogue questioned.
"Sure I'm sure!" Blaze echoed. "Come on, buddy. I wouldn't let you... err... down!"
Rogue sighed. He wanted to believe Blaze, but the piercing glare and toothy grin were making it difficult. Then again, he figured, Blaze always seemed to have that look on his face in general. Perhaps he was worrying too much. At last, he opened up. "All right," he said, positioning himself. "Let's do this!"
"NOW we're talking!" Blaze said, positioning himself as well, the ground and nearby buildings shaking just from him shifting his position next to the building. He placed his hand on another building across the street to balance himself, and to control how much force he would put into his upcoming movement. "I'll try not to send you flying into the next county!" he mused.
"Yeah, thanks," Rogue answered with another eye roll. "I'll count us off if you don't mind."
Blaze chuckled with anticipation. "Count away, my man!"
"Three. Two. One!"
WHOOOM!!
Their hips met with a thundering impact. Blaze had slightly pulled his end of the combo to avoid absolutely obliterating the building with his full force, though even with the restraint from the kaiju-saur, the building shook and leaned to one side, and the impact was enough to generate a very noticeable "clap" that echoed across the city.
Rogue was now laughing. Despite his earlier concerns, he was feeling rather exhilarated. "Heh! Never checked hips with a kaiju before!" he admitted. "That was fun!"
"See? I told ya there was nothing to worry about!" Blaze laughed. "... You know you got some powerful hips there. I really felt that!"
Rogue blushed slightly. "Heh, well, I aim to please!"
"You know..." Blaze said, rubbing his chin and pondering. "We should totally do this again, once we find a way to get you as big as me!"
"W-well I..." Rogue began, entertained by the idea but not yet entirely sure he would.
His thoughts as well as Blaze's teasing were interrupted by the sound of crumbling concrete from the bottom of the building, plus Rogue's foothold beginning to wobble and sink. Rogue gulped, and gave Blaze a pitiful look. "Uh..." he began.
"Right," Blaze said sheepishly.
Commission for
. Blaze and Rogue experiment by throwing caution to the wind as far as size difference goes (not to mention properly damage) and showing off the power of their hips.
Just in time for Macro March too, and finally getting to draw myself in full body.
The story is actually inspired by conversations I was having with him regarding this idea.
Enjoy!
