New stray.
Her back right leg is broken or hurt in some way, cuz she's limping like crazy on it.
She kind of looks like she has a skin condition, probably the early stages of mange.
She's still a pup, I think. I don't know much about dogs, but her eyes are pretty... blue, still, and isnt that a trait of dogs when they're younger? xD
Anyway, what kind of dog is this? Anything you can tell me about her? I also really want to keep her if her skin condition is something I can take care of and fix.. but I don't know anything about it. She's so cute! x3
She's been around for like three days, and she's NOT going away. She just isn't leaving! The owner of the house tried to chase it away, tried to scare it away, and tried ignoring her. She's just not going anywhere. I think she's determined to have a home.
She gets along with all of the other animals here. The horses, other two dogs, and even the cat, as you can see. No dispute there. XD

I really would like to. Unfortunately though, this isn't my house so I can't dictate what animals we keep. John, the person who owns the house and is letting me live here doesn't like any animal unless it's a horse. The only reason why we have the other two dogs and the cat is because my boyfriend's little sister was all like 'I WANT ANIMALS, LULL AND I'LL TAKE CARE OF THEM WHEN I'M NOT TEXTING." And so, when I moved in, I became the person who takes care of the animals, who feeds them, to plays with them, who takes the burs and stickers out of their fur every day.. So even though I can tell John I'd take care of her and raise money to take her to the vet, there's no surefire reason for him to let her stay here. x.x;;
Probably couldn't hurt to ask. Worst that could happen is he say 'no', right? Although, given the way she acts, it's entirely possible she may have an owner and is just lost. In any case, that mange definitely needs some sort of medical attention.
Anyways, judging from the looks she may be Australian Shepherd and some strain of Husky, there are a few strains that have reddish/brown fur.

I think She's a mutt...but you seriously need to have a vet evaluate her. If she's limping, that is not a good thing. and mange most definitely requires immediate treatment. Can you wrangle the little girl into a carrier or into your house to get a better look at her? And I agree that she is a pup from the looks of it.

Well here's my AussieShep and I'm going to have to say they look quite similar.

Definitely, wow! xD They do look very alike.
When I saw her, I was really confused. I was always a cat person until I was introduced to border collies, and then I started hoping for a dog of my own, and she showed up. But I just had absolutely no idea what kinds of dogs were in the world, because I pretty much only cared to research cats for most of my life. xD

looks to be maybe a Aussie husky mix..
if she has mange.. ALLL your other animals shes around will get it.. she should go to a vet right away if your keeping her.
the blue eyes are cuz of her breed.. she will always have them. she looks maybe 6 months old.. does not look to old.
id feel her back leg down.. not MANY dogs will walk on a busted leg.. so it may just be hurt bad.
tho i would for sure take her to a vet.. she really does need one.. and her shots.

Ask local shelters and vets if they recognize her or if anyone has come to them looking for their dog. She might have gotten hit by a car and can't find her way home now. If you can't find her previous owners, take her to the vet and get her fixed up and fixed. They will try to find her a home if you can't afford to help her, but PLEASE get her to a vet, if it's broken the bones can grow back wrong and mess her up way worse. :[ The vet will also be able to give you a rough estimate of age and possible breed. It's a beautiful dog though, looks young. Try to keep her confined to a barn or kennel until you can get ahold of the vet to ask about missing dogs and her leg. Skin conditions usually aren't too big of a deal to fix early. Sorry I don't know about the breed; such a cutie. @_@
My cousins have a dog with a related skin condition don't know exactly what it was but the skin condition might be able to be fixed with some special shampoos and medicine from the vet.
Also With wolfbound the best places to check are vets because often people call their vets first. Don't forget to post around in nearby super markets too.
Also in a related note I saved a cat that had a can of chef boyardee ravioli on its head. It would of suffocated. While the owner of the house was just staring at the poor cat and doing nothing.

Oh my gosh ;___;
Thank you for saving the cat... I can't even count how many cats and dogs I've taken in and cared for when I lived up in Illinois. My one cat Fluffy got both of its back legs broken, and I was a little kid but I actually wrapped him every day and he walks fine now. XP I definitely don't think I could have a miracle like that happen again. I really hope we can find this girl her home (hoping it wasn't an abusive home) and get her fixed up.

Its terrible what some people will do to animals. This cat could not of possibly accidentally get its head inside the can. Unless he was running at full speed straight into it. he was on the side of the road crying like crazy
If you do find out its an abusive home and they're giving you trouble about how they want their dog back don't be afraid to call the cops to make sure this dog gets a good home. No dog like the one you found should suffer through it. she's so pretty and seems so loving.

Yeah. I can't stand owners who fight for animals they can't even take care of. x.x;; I once found a pit bull. SO loving. It was a bit late at night, so I went to tie it to a post we had in our back yard so I could walk around the town with it the next day like I usually do when I find dogs, and as I was walking away from the dog it had crunched on my leg. So my mom called the pet control people, and we found out that the dog was actually a trained fighting dog. I felt so bad, but there was nothing I could do. x.x;;
Another time I found three little kittens in a bathtub in the apartment complex we were in. The mother was not being fed and so had no milk, and she was really sick, so I took the kittens.. They were just a couple of weeks old, but you could tell nobody had EVER touched them during the short time they had been alive, and the mother being wild and all... so they were entirely mean in every way. What little teeth they had they could USE, oh my gosh. x.x;; But when the pet control came to take them, I BEGGED them to let me keep em and let me try to turn them around to being nice. I succeeded on two of the kittens. They became nice as pie, but the third one just wouldn't turn, and I knew that if I could have kept him just a little longer, he'd be alright, but they gave me a time limit and came to take the kitten away. x.x
Some people just don't give animals a chance. They laugh at them because they apparently can't be as smart or as fortunate as a person, so they think animals don't deserve respect and care.

Its sad how some animals all they've ever known is how to inflict pain because of people.
and last post, though my family's old restaurant had a clowder of feral cats in the back and we took in two feral kittens because they got themselves stuck inside. One is living with me now and he's the sweetest cat you would have ever met. The other was an adorable calico kitten who would simply beg for attention (and when making macaroni she would try and steal some from your bowl)

Looks like maybe Australian Shepard or Border Collie mixed with maybe Husky or German Shepard. Blue eyes can be indications of either Australian Shepard or Husky, Border Collies can have it too but its not as common.
I work at a petstore and see a lot of dogs that look like this and they are usually one mixed with the other. Hard to say until shes older cause they can change drastically from puppy to adult. She will probably get between 35-60lbs depending on what shes mixed with.

Definately an aussie shepherd or a mix of it.
But yeah, she needs veteranary attention wether you keep her or not. I've treated mange in a dog on my own before, and it was NOT pretty. My dog made it out fine and is now mange free, but without the actual doctors and prescription medicine, she lost huge patches of her fur and was a really unhappy dog for a while.

Also who knows she may be a mix of more than two things. Dont necessarily diss the possiblity of Husky, shes most likely a mix and who knows what might be in there, I just wouldnt think of it as a main part of her if she is. I see plenty of dogs that dont look like what they are but DNA testing says otherwise. Keep an open mind, but some type of herding dog is definetly in her.
It looks like a Australian shepherd x Australian Kelpie mix.
Here have a look at the Kelpie

Yeah. x.x;; We may not be able to keep her. She doesn't look like it in the photos, but she's got a very... funny look about her. John and his wife say she might be part coyote (There are lots of coydogs in the area) and because they run a company that sells cattle, if it got into the cattle... well, that'd be bad, pretty much.
She is a pup, and her limp needs evaluated. she's a rottweiler with a little bit of shepard I want to say (don't quote me on the last part). She looks like she needs her eyes checked a bit too (I can't tell, the picture doesn't show her eyes too well). I am a vet student, I don't know much (still a freshie)but I'm hoping that helps a little bit.
If you live nearby I could take care of her. If not, find a local shelter that has instituted a "no kill" policy and bring her there.

That is a red tricolored australian shepherd.

She's got the same look and markings of my aussie, Bear.

I agree with the aussie shep or perhaps border collie in it. It looks like it could be part but definitely not all.
Perhaps English shepherd too: Clicky
It looks like a mutt to me. As for what to do about her...if you can't keep her then try to rehome her (but don't lie about her issues) or give her to a shelter. They'll hopefully fix her up and find her a good home.

My first thought was a border collie or australian shepherd mix of some sort. Just the shape of the eyes, face and muzzle ( especially in the top right photo ). As for her fur/skin, it could easily be mange or even something simple as an allergic reaction to flees. I suggest giving her a quick lookthrough to check for flees ( if you can't find them specifically, look for black "pepper" speckles -that's dried blood, or even little white speckles -which are flee eggs. ) Strays normally catch flee infestations much easier than a house animal of course. If you spy flees just give her an oatmeal flee shampoo bath ( that stuff is normally around $5 at Walmart, and works really good on sensitive skin irratations )
I wish you luck! She looks beautiful!
