If anyone were to meet Kaze, they would say she's cold, ruthless, and above all, strikingly cynical. Why?
Because of the Shuushiji, of course, here seen hounding her in her memories as they did when she was a child. Not all romps through foreign worlds are sunshine and daisies... Kaze lost the ability to express and sometimes even feel emotions at the hands of these creatures.
Should you ever meet her, begrudge her not. Show her a modicum of respect and she'll simply go about her day, just as any other day.

Indeed it does. Her full name, though, is Kaze Norite Hunter, which translates to "Wind Rider" ... Hunter, (that bit's from her father).
She has a very deep connection to the elements and her specialty is her ability to wrap wind currents around herself to fly.
Essentially 'riding the wind'. ;)
