It's always a really cool detail when artists show scales pulling apart and showing the soft flesh under them when expanded past their limit.
A very beautiful piece! Love the detail mentioned above, and the overall pose of the taur character. The twisting body from tail to stomach and twisting back as we get to the head is a really amazing use of the long body of the character.
