Yeah, exactly. Most hound dogs, namely beagles and bassetts, are hell on wheels too. @.@ xD However we get some big dogs that act like that too. GSDs and Huskies are both huge babies, but I think the worst one is this irish wolfhound that comes in every now and then. The owners treat it like a lapdog. Its a huge effin' irish wolfhound that acts like a spoiled chihuahua. I wouldn't be surprised if it drapes across their laps when they watch TV or something, and they're standing in the lobby of the salon babytalking the damn thing the entire time. How can people not realize that does not help the situation even the slightest! xD
My own dog, a pit lab mix, used to be a huge baby about his nails but he's slowly getting better! Usually, to clip 'em we have to use three people -- one person has to sit on him to hold him down, one person has to pet his head to distract him from wanting to bite, and one person clips his nails ( me :D ). However, when painting his nails recently I discovered that he WILL NOT bite me.. he'll make to do it and go so far as to wrap his mouth around my arm, but he'll never apply any pressure, so I'm no longer so afraid to clip his nails by myself. I took him to my salon yesterday to give him a bath 'cause he rolled in some mud and mom needed him out of the house anyway, and I decided to try clipping his nails ( and painting them red fff I think the blue looked better ) ..and I got EVERY SINGLE NAIL clipped. It was amazing!
Woah way too much of a rant there. Sorry!

Oh, go right ahead and rant, I do it all the time. I have so many rants from the grooming depot, you have no idea. like people who would bring dogs in with the nails so overgrown the toes were twisted out of alignment. It was so, so very hard not to be my usual abrasive self and try to POLITELY explain their dog is in agony and if they wuv it so damn much, how did they let it get like this?
Oh man, I know, I know so hard. :( Or the people that bitch at us because they forgot the proof of rabies vaccination for their dog ( aka the only thing the petsmart grooming salon requires to take the dog ), their vet is closed, but we still can't clip their nails. Usually these are the people that never come in so their dogs nails are awful. If its so bad and you know it why don't you just buy nail clippers you bloody idiot! Gah!
And then there's always the creepies who say something like "Ohh! I have a boy of that kind of dog at home, they should make children together!" When the owner of the girl dog is standing right there..
