Names depend on what kind of culture owns this sub.
I mean, with the exception of some old classes and the Sea Wolf class, alot of American subs are named for cities or states or whatnot.
The Russians and Soviets, on the other hand, went with things like "Shark" and "Typhoon" and whatnot.
The Germans and most people just use numbers and letters. o:
I've always been fond of Unterseeboot (U-boat) myself. xD
