East of Lake Michigan, and West of The Schuylkill
Legends speak of a far away land... Beneath the sky, and above the sand.
This long promised collaboration art between me and Phloppy Bunny was inspired by a book titled "East of the sun, and West of the Moon" that my fiancee ran across, and how our lives kind of played out since 2016 when he moved in with me.
Though we threw in a bit of a twist by switching our roles with bunny being the Michigander and me being the Philadelphian inner city urbanite.
Concept, background imagery, and BG text by Phloppy Bunny
Character art drawn by Tamias the Chipmunk

Phloppy here (I have access to Tamias account, and lurk at times every once in a while).
What exactly is "fm and tv dxing videos"? I'm not sure I've ever done what you're mentioning.
I used to run videos through VirtualDub just to help correct video contrast/brightness and color imperfections back when I was still running Windows. These days, under Linux, I run Avidemux.
I do Second Life gesture making... icon making, including my fave, animated gif icon making, and just basically dabbling around under GIMP image editor. I use Audacity for that, as well as for any other audio editing and audio level normalizing work.
The background imagery for this first artwork marks the first ever ever 100 percent, full-on collab between me and Tamias.
I put together the BG imagery together under Gimp, along with the calligraphy text at the top, and the compass that my character and Tamias's are actually mostly blocking by standing there.
I myself REALLY like how this one turned out. And, only when this image is viewed in other places (off of FurAffinity) can it be seen in It's original, intended 4K resolution.
FurAffinity automatically scales all images over 1280x1280 down to a max of 1280x1280. Erm, unless one has FurAffinity plus, that is. Then, larger resolution images can be uploaded without being scaled down.
In this particular case, it scaled it from 3840x2160 down to 1280x720.
