When I first started drawing Ted he was bright orange with no markings except a white tailtip and had virulent green hair. As my art's got better my character designs have shifted, but Ted never really got the redesign he needs, so I'm experimenting.
In case you're interested, the reason his markings are unusual is because he's neither a pure fox nor a simple cross-breed. His ancestry is mainly vulpine with several other species (not all canine) scattered about. It also explains his blunt muzzle shape.
