Azure Dreams on the gbc was my favorite game during my childhood, and still one of my top favorites to this day. I only recently recognized that in all these years, I've never really drawn myself into the setting. I've got a collection of self-insert OCs with practically everything I watch or play, but not my favorite game?! Well, I had to fix that.
So here's Meadow!
A magic adept hailing from the city of Halka. Featured alongside him are two of his monsters, a viper named Rillard and a darkewne named Mire. Meadow travels to the legendary Monsbaiya Monster Tower as part of his sorcery training ^w^
Though he carries an Ice Wand (basically a light-mace that channels magic a little better and deals cold damage when it thwacks) he prefers to rely on his magic whenever possible.
Standard Arsenal of abilities ~
Veil : Conjures up to three thin water-element barriers.
Float : Causes a target to float for a time, allowing them to easily pass over tricky terrain and ground-based traps.
Stormbolt : Strikes a foe with a bolt of green lightning from above. More effective during water season / precipitation. Less effective during fire season / hot, dry weather.
Revi (Spell Orb) : Heals a target using the powers of water.
Ice Wand (Weapon) : Striking a foe with this water-element rod can leave them glazed with ice, hampering their ability to attack and defend.
