Bean like most modern dinos was born in captivity and also made in a lab, she however was an experiment to make a much kinder/more gentle tempered raptor so she would not likely attack anyone that clearly wasn't food. They had to do extra experiments to boost her intelligence further to best understand what is and isn't regular food but now anybody can go get raptor snuggles without a fear in the world, yay!~

Bonus: she got her unique coloring as the scientist who was designing her couldn't live without his espresso while enduring the long work hours it took to make her...it's also how she got the name Bean as well~
