Some of the last photos taken of Morritz and Frederike. Which due to their old age already were severely ailing and losing their fur.
The day afterwards it was unfortunately decided to put them to rest to spare them further suffering.
Their presence, as gatekeepers of the zoo and friendliness towards the visitors during their healthier times will be greatly missed.
