I taped almost all the Muppet shows - save one that channel 2 cut the punch lines from, just to fit in more commercials- and am well acquainted with a partricular episode. In it, Kermit did a super-sonic hyper-spazz when he found out that Miss Piggy spread a story, now being covered in a magazine (!), that she and Kermit were secretly marrried ! Kermit, spluttering with rage, fired Miss Piiggy ! She spent the rest of the episode barging in & out of sketches and otherwise trying to get re-hired !
